Logging Into an Account

You need to log into your Dateno account if you want to reconfigure it, manage your sunscriptions, or obtain your API key.

You can use one of the following authentication credentials:

  • Email address and password
  • Google or GitHub account

Logging In With an Email and Password

The email address you use to log in must be set as primary in your account settings. To meet this requirement, you must have done one of the following:

To log into your Dateno account using your email address and password:

  1. Click the Sign in button at the top of any Dateno page.

    A login form loads in your web browser.

  2. Enter your email address and password in the corresponding fields.

    TIP
    If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it.

  3. Click the Sign in button.

    You are logged into your Dateno account, and the main account page loads.

Logging In With Google

To log in with a Google account, it must be connected to your Dateno account. To meet this requirement, you must have done one of the following:

To log into your Dateno account using Google:

  1. Log into the Google account you want to use.

  2. Click the Sign in button at the top of any Dateno page.

    A login form loads in your web browser.

  3. Click the Sign in with Google button.

    A page displaying your Google accounts loads.

  4. Click the Google account you want to use for logging in.

    You are logged into your Dateno account, and the main account page loads.

Logging In With GitHub

To log in with a GitHub account, it must be connected to your Dateno account. To meet this requirement, you must have done one of the following:

To log into your Dateno account using GitHub:

  1. Log into the GitHub account you want to use.

  2. Click the Sign in button at the top of any Dateno page.

    A login form loads in your web browser.

  3. Click the Sign in with GitHub button.

    You are logged into your Dateno account, and the main account page loads.
