Loading a Dataset Card
A dataset card provides comprehensive information and links related to the dataset.
To open a dataset card:
- Click on the title of a dataset in the list of search results.
Dataset Card Content
Dataset cards represent the following metadata in a structured format:
| Metadata Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Dataset title | Includes a link to the original website where the dataset is published |
| Short description | Provides a brief summary of the dataset's content or purpose |
| Resources | Displays a list of dataset files, if available, with direct download links |
| Detailed description | Offers an extended description of the dataset for further context |
| Attributes | Lists key dataset attributes such as theme, type, and license |
| Dataset UID | Shows a unique identifier for the dataset in the Dateno Registry |
| Registry link | Provides a link to the detailed entry in the Dateno Registry |
| The same source datasets link | Includes a link to search for other datasets from the same source |
Actions Available on a Dataset Card
You can perform the following actions directly from a dataset card:
| Action | How to Perform |
|---|---|
| Browse to the original website | Click on the dataset's title |
| Learn the dataset's unique identifier | Copy the value in the Dataset UID field |
| Download a dataset file | Click on the link in the Resources section (if available) |
| Review detailed metadata in the registry | Click on the View the source in the Dateno registry link at the bottom of the card |
| Find other datasets from the same source | Click on the Search for other datasets from this source link at the bottom of the card |
