Dateno identifies the maintenance software used for each catalog during the indexing process. This information is used to categorize catalogs and make them easier to search.

If a subset of datasets is selected, either by entering a full-text query or by choosing options in other facets, the Software facet adjusts to display only the software types related to the selected datasets.
